CalcSmith is a free suite of 10 calculators. Every one shows the exact formula it uses, a worked example, charts, a full amortization or projection schedule, CSV export and a shareable link — with no sign-up and no account. Amounts can be shown in nearly thirty currencies, and everything is calculated in your browser, so the figures you type are never sent anywhere.
Most online calculators hand you a number and hide the maths. CalcSmith prints the formula, the inputs it used and a line-by-line schedule, so you can check the result, take it to a lender or adviser, or reproduce it in a spreadsheet. Where a figure depends on an assumption — an interest rate, an inflation estimate, a drawdown rate — the assumption is stated rather than buried.
CalcSmith needs JavaScript to run interactively. It is part of the AppVitamins fleet of free, privacy-first web tools — see also the Smart Budget planner, the spreadsheet templates and the AppVitamins store. Nothing here is financial advice.
