Bow Hunter 3D — archery hunting in your browser
Bow Hunter 3D is a free low-poly archery game that runs directly in your browser — no download, no install, no account. Drag back, read the wind, judge the drop, and loose. Every shot takes seconds; mastering the longbow takes weeks.
How to play
- On touch: press anywhere on the right side of the screen and drag back to draw — the further you pull, the harder the shot. Release to fire, slide back to your starting point to cancel. A second finger pans the camera while you hold a draw, and pinching zooms for long shots. In Hunt mode a floating joystick on the left moves your hunter and the crouch button keeps you quiet.
- On desktop: click once to enable mouse aim, then hold the left button and drag back to draw. The scroll wheel zooms, WASD repositions you between shots, C crouches, and holding Space steadies your breathing for a calm release.
At low draw power a dotted arc previews your arrow's exact flight path, including wind — it fades on full-power shots, where real skill takes over. After every arrow a faint ghost trail shows where your last shot actually went, so you can correct like a real archer.
Three ways to shoot
Target Range is a ten-level precision school: drop, wind, distance, gusts and moving rails, ending with a brutal 80-meter exam. Hunt is a three-minute fair-chase safari where vital shots score full points and sloppy body shots cost you — three woundings and your license is revoked. Challenge Ladder launches clay discs across the sky, skeet-style, and climbs forever. The seeded Daily Challenge gives everyone the same round once per day — keep the streak alive.
FAQ
Why do my arrows land low? Gravity. Past 30 meters an arrow drops more than half a meter — hold your aim above the target, or draw lower and watch the arc dots learn it for you.
What does the wind dial mean? The arrow shows where the wind pushes relative to your view; the number is its speed. Aim into the wind — a 6 m/s crosswind drifts an arrow half a meter at long range.
Does it save my progress? Yes — stars, best scores and your daily streak are stored locally in your browser.
Is it free? Completely. No purchases, no downloads — just archery.
