MergeMelon is a physics puzzle in the tradition of the Japanese arcade hit Suika Game (γΉγ€γ«γ²γΌγ , "the watermelon game"). The rules take ten seconds to learn and a lifetime to master:

MergeMelon is an original homage built on the same merge-drop loop β same genre, our own fruits, physics tuning, scoring, and daily-challenge system. It runs free in any modern browser with no download.
You need ten consecutive merges up the chain: Cherry β Strawberry β Grape β Clementine β Mango β Apple β Pear β Peach β Pineapple β Honeydew β Watermelon. Since two Honeydews are 172 px wide each, you physically need a calm, well-sorted jar to fit the final merge β which is why keeping big fruit low and in the corners matters so much.
Melon Magic: both melons vanish, you bank a 500-point bonus (multiplied by your active combo), and you reclaim a huge amount of jar space. Double-melon runs are how the top scores happen.
Every day, one drop sequence is generated from the date, so every player worldwide gets the exact same fruits in the exact same order. Your best Daily score is tracked separately, and playing on consecutive days builds your π₯ streak. It resets at local midnight.
Tap the HOLD box in the top-left corner of the jar β or press C on a keyboard β to bank the fruit you're about to drop and pull in the next one from the queue instead. Tap or press it again later to bring the held fruit back and swap it with whatever's currently active. You get one hold or swap per drop; the slot re-locks the moment a fruit lands and unlocks again for the next one, exactly like the classic hold mechanic in falling-block games. Holding only reorders which of the already-queued fruits you drop β it never generates extra fruits or skips any β so it works identically in Classic, Zen and Daily runs, and the seeded Daily fruit order stays perfectly fair between players either way.
Completely free. There is no real-money anything β no purchases, no loot boxes, no paid continues. The game is supported by ads (the placeholder slots you see on this page).
High scores, daily bests, streaks, and stats are saved in your browser's localStorage β they persist between visits on the same device but never leave it. After the page (and the small physics library) has loaded once, the game itself runs fully offline.
The run ends when any fruit stays above the dashed danger line for about two seconds. Fruits briefly passing through the line as they fall are fine β it's settled fruit resting above the line that triggers the red wobble warning and then game over.
The Melon Dex is your personal collection of all 11 fruits β each tier you create for the first time is "discovered" and added to the grid below the game. Achievements are milestone badges (your first Watermelon, a Γ8 combo, a 5,000-point run, a 7-day Daily streak, completing the Dex, and more) that unlock automatically as you play. Both are stored only in your browser.
The whole game β Classic and Daily modes, scoring, combos, stats, the Melon Dex and every achievement β is free forever. Zen mode is a relaxed, endless variant included with Pro: the danger line is switched off, so fruit can pile past the top without ending your run. It's perfect for unwinding, experimenting with stacking strategies, or chasing a giant Watermelon with no pressure. Your Classic and Daily high scores are kept separate and untouched.
